Events Before and After the Conference
What if I would like to come in a day early or leave a day late?
If you are planning on participating in another InterVarsity event in Atlanta before or after BCM SC16, you may arrange your flight to reflect your arrival and departure dates. You will be responsible for arranging your own lodging. If you are planning to stay in Atlanta for personal reasons, please be aware that the conference will reimburse you up to the amount of what a ticket would have cost you if you flew in solely for the conference. Any amount above that will be your responsibility.
Can I visit family or friends during the conference?
Although you may have friends and/or family in the Atlanta area, in order to protect the conference experience, please do not schedule get-togethers with them during the conference.
I am a guest coming to BCM SC17, what do I need to do?
We ask that all guests contact Vicki Burdett for details about your time at Black Campus Ministries Staff Conference 2016.
Where will we be staying/meeting?
The conference will be held at the SharpTop Cove, a Young Life Camp.
Who can attend?
- All paid Black staff and BCM staff working 30 or more hours a week are invited to attend the Black Campus Ministries Staff Conference. Please confer with your supervisor before registering for the conference.
- Part time staff, provisionally appointed staff, and staff volunteers working with BCM are welcome to attend with the approval of their supervisor.
- Staff spouses and other appropriate guests are welcome to attend with the approval of the Black Campus Ministries Department. Please contact our Conference Administrator, Michelle Verrill.
Will I be able to choose a roommate?
You can indicate a roommate, but there will be 3-4 staff in each large room.
What if I do not have a roommate?
Please indicate that you would like us to choose a roommate for you. Your housing preferences will enable us to house you with someone who has similar sleeping habits.
I have a special dietary need. Who do I talk to?
If you require vegetarian meals or if you have other special dietary needs, please indicate them when you register.
I have another special need. Who do I talk to?
